Our staff are dedicated to providing safe, professional and compassionate care to our Residents. All Nurses are An Bord Altranais registered and all Care Staff have successfully completed FETAC Level 5 certificates in Care of the Elderly. All staff are Garda vetted prior to commencement of employment.
The number and skill mix of staff on duty is determined and provided to plan and meet the needs of the Residents.

About Lucie McCormack
Lucie McCormack is the Director of Nursing at Padre Pio Nursing Home.
She has been a RGN for 24 years with 20 years experience working with older people initially as a ward sister then later as a ward manager for 7 years in an acute hospital setting in London.
Lucie has been the Director of Nursing in Padre Pio Nursing Home since 2001. She has undertaken a post-registration certificate in Nursing Older People, has qualified as a theatre nurse and has achieved a certificate in management studies in London in 1999. Most recently she received a diploma in Health Service Management at the University of Limerick in 2007.
